become familiar with ancient
and modern Jewish literature, and written an ethnography of Hasidic learning
encounters

Studied Kabbalah with Rabbis, Hasidic Masters,
and Jewish Mystics for over ten years. Practiced Jewish meditation and led group
meditation sessions for college students at Wesleyan University. Originated
new melodies to traditional Sabbath songs that are being sung in Jewish
